Things you’ll find in the stimulus package that you wouldn’t expect to be there:

$248 million for furniture at the new Homeland Security headquarters.

$75 million for “smoking cessation activities.”

$25 million for tribal alcohol and substance abuse reduction.

$850 million for Amtrak.

$75 million for salaries of employees at the FBI.

And by “wouldn’t expect” I mean, “have come to expect and accept as the price of getting laws passed.”
